2014 was a fabulous year for BLP and personally.  It was the studio’s first full year in Charlotte and I was blown away.  I got to work with some of the most wonderful people that have impacted and changed my life for the better.  Every family, every baby, every senior are so different with a story to be told.  I feel lucky to be able to tell so many.  This year, my goal is to provide an even better experience to all of my new and current clients.  I never want to stop learning, growing, doing, creating, inventing and expanding.  This year will be full of new things – some I’m ready for and some that truthfully scare me but I know it’s time.  When I started this little business of mine, a wise mentor told me to get comfortable being uncomfortable and I’m heading in to 2015 ready for a whole lot of that.  I want to volunteer my services more, mentor other photographers in their businesses, teach, learn from some of my favorite photographers in the industry and deepen my purpose through photography.

On a personal level, it’s been a year I’ll always hold close.  Jordan and I bought our first home/condo together.  We adopted our sweet dog, Ella.  I married the love of my life September 27.  We went to Pebble Beach and Fiji for our honeymoon.  Penelope the cat randomly found her way to our household to become part of our family too.  Those are the highlights and lots of good stuff in between.  We traveled, saw, laughed, drank, ate, loved and embraced every minute of it all.  Together, we have some personal projects that I’m super excited about and can’t wait to announce.  2014 was awesome so 2015 has big shoes to fill but I can’t wait to see what God has in store.

Thank you to everyone that made 2014 so wonderful.  I hope to see you all in 2015!
