Please help me welcome and congratulate our “Great and Powerful” Senior Model Class of 2014.  They totally rocked our modern twist on the Wizard of Oz concept even in the rain.

Senior Models Class of 2014 Brittany Lauren Photography

Senior Models Class of 2014 Brittany Lauren PhotographyYesterday was amazing, fun and challenging.  I put a ton of work in to the preparation of Brittany Lauren Photography‘s very first Senior Model shoot and could barely sleep the night before anticipating a perfect day exactly the way I planned it.  Well as you know, things don’t always go the way you plan but you have to go with the flow.  Our little bump in the road was lots and lots of rain but we made the best of it.  Thankfully the property we shot at had a few alternate locations to pull off some fun shots while we waited for the rain to clear.  God blessed us with about an hour window of no rain that we took complete advantage of.

I feel honored to have these 7 amazing rising Seniors representing Brittany Lauren Photography for the Class of 2014.  Each of these Models represent 5 High Schools in the Rock Hill and Fort Mill area.  Each day this week, a Model will have a feature on the blog so you can get to know them more.

You can find each of these Models to learn all about our Senior experience and snag one of their Model cards to receive a special gift when you book your Senior session with Brittany Lauren Photography.  You can also learn about what your Senior experience will look like on the Senior website.  This week ONLY you will receive the Senior Model gift and another special gift when you reserve your Senior session by May 5. Until May 5, you don’t need a Model referral card to receive these lovely gifts.  All you have to do is email me at brittany@brittanylaurenphotography.org.  We will get your Senior session reserved and start planning something awesome!

***Lots of Thank You’s***
I could have NEVER EVER pulled this off without the help of so many wonderful people.  An idea is only as good as the effort you put into it to bring it to life and so many helped bring it to life.
*Thank you to Kathy for loaning us your property and beautiful house.  You gave us shelter and made all of my Senior Models, parents and assistants feel at home for a few hours when you didn’t have to at all.
*Another HUGE thank you to my mom and Sara for literally doing any crazy thing I asked to help pull this off.
*To my dad and Tammy, thank you for letting us invade your house for a few hours for hair, makeup and styling.
*To Billy, thank you for restoring such a cool, old, yellow truck, making it awesome and letting us borrow it.
*Thank you to the Senior Model’s parents for being involved, helping organize, taking pictures, sharing and being just as excited as I was.
*To my Senior Models, I know I’ve told you this already but THANK YOU for sticking with me yesterday through the rain, changes of plans, crazy ideas, heals in the wet grass and totally rocking every setup and look.  I’m SO incredibly happy you are my Senior Models for the Class of 2014 and will be representing Brittany Lauren Photography. I couldn’t ask for a better group <3

Thank you to all of the awesome businesses that contributed to this shoot as well.
*Lavish Boutique in Rock Hill, SC helped style all of our looks.  They have THE sweetest, most helpful staff and a great boutique with a great selection of clothing and accessories.  Go visit them!  For anyone not located in the area, they also have a website http://lavishboutiqueonline.com
*Adjoa of Make Me by Joya is a great makeup artist and made all the girls look beautiful for each of their looks. http://www.makemebyjoya.com/default.html
*Amber Hilton styled all of the model’s hair.  Check her out on Facebook.  She’s great to work with and located at Salon 5 in Rock Hill, SC.

Brittany, what a joy it was to see your excitement for the shoot yesterday! You kept the energy going, made each girl and each parent feel special, and all while adjusting to the rain! Thank you for letting Caroline (aka The Cowardly Lion) participate!

Brittany, I would just like to say that the shoot Saturday was amazing! I have never experienced something so put together. You had every detail ironed out! Even in the rain there were several options, so that the shoot could continue. Everyone and everything was so amazing! What a fantastic group of teens too! You are so Great at what you do!! Keep up the amazing work, and thank you again for giving Abby ( aka Glenda the good witch) this awesome experience!
